RAJOURI, Nov 26: A plantation drive was carried out at Dhangri under the chairmanship of Chairman District Legal Services Authority Rajouri Jaffer Hussain Beg (Principal District and Sessions Judge Rajouri) in association with the Social Forestry Department here today.
On the occasion, Chief Judicial Magistrate Rajouri OP Thakur (Chairman Tehsil Legal Services Committee Rajouri and Secretary District Legal Services Authority Rajouri Meyank Gupta took part in the drive.
DFO Social Forestry Department Rakesh Saraf and Ranger Officer Gulshan Kumar along with other staff of the Department were also present.
During the plantation drive, 300 saplings of different species including Accita, Bulina, Semia, Eucalyptus, Amla, Guava, etc were planted.
Students of Government Middle School Dhangri also participated in the drive and planted the saplings.
On the occasion, Chairman District Legal Services Authority Rajouri Jaffer Hussain Beg stressed upon the students as well as others to plant the trees.
