SRINAGAR, Feb 19: Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Central Kashmir Range Ghulam Hassan Bhat has issued in-situ promotion orders of 31 Head Constables and 76 Selection Grade Constables.
A police spokesman said the Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) comprising of SP Ganderbal Imtiyaz Ismail Parray, SO to DIG Bhat Manoj Kumar Pandita, In-charge Establishment KPO Irshad Ahmad Jan and Accounts Officer KPO Mushtaq Ahmad Zarger met under the Chairmanship of the DIG Bhat and approved the in-situ promotion of 31 HCs and 76 SgCts.
DIG Bhat has felicitated the promoted police personnel and their families and exhorted upon them to work with more dedication and devotion in the interest of public and the department, he said.
