JAMMU, May 9: A permanent Lok Adalat was held today in the Bank Court, Jammu, wherein 32 cases related to banks were disposed off.
The Lok Adalat was held under the supervision of District and Sessions Judge, Jammu, Sanjay Gupta. The bench constituted for the cases listed in the Lok Adalat was of Additional District Judge, Jammu, Ashok Kumar Shavan and Shahzad Azeem, presiding officer, District Consumer Forum, Jammu.
The Lok Adalat took 44 Pre-litigation and Post litigation cases out of which 28 Post-Litigation and 4 Pre-Litigation cases were disposed off and an amount of Rs 4,24,75,260 was recovered from the defaulters of Post-Litigation cases.
