32 performers presented awards by Karwani at LSEHO function

JAMMU, Aug 16: Thirty two eminent performers in various fields including entrepreneurship were awarded by Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner (Migrants), Dr Arvind Karwani at an Independence Day function organised by a socio-cultural organisation Lalitaditya Sports, Education and Health Organisation (LSEHO) at Jagti Township here.
Some of those awarded included Vikas Raina, Deepti Raina, M K Bhat, Raman Raina, Rinkoo Bhat, Drupad Dewan, Dr Rohit Kaul, Kanwal Peshin, Muktesh Yogi, Kamal Ganjoo, Vikram Koul, Sheetal, Sanchi Bhat, Yogita Koul besides others.
Dr Arvind Karwani was the chief guest on the occasion, while Vijay Kumar Sharma, Deputy Commissioner Relief (Migrants), Dr Meenakshi Kilam, former Registrar University of Jammu, Dr Samita Bhat, eminent Oncologist and PN Tickoo, former SSP were the guests of honour.
Programme was held under the supervision of Anil Bhat, president LSEHO. Ankur Bhagati and Anil Chingri compared the programme.
Ashok Kangan a KP leader, Dileep Pandita, Sandeep Bhat, Kirti Dhar, senior sports journalist and Media head of Wushu Association of J&K, Vitasta Raina, chief town planner JDA were also present on the occasion.
A variety of cultural items including dance, drama and singing were presented by famous artists of Jammu and Kashmir.
While the son of the soil and Jammu famous singer Ravi Raghuvanshi stole the show, star Kashmiri singer Rahul Wanchoo won hearts and outstanding comedian Anil Chingari kept the audience on their toes with his special item.
The dance performances by 5.7 Dance Academy enthralled one and all and solo performance by little Tanisha Bhat also displayed extraordinary dancing skills.
Earlier, in his welcome address Anil Bhat highlighted the achievements of the organisation and threw light on the history and life of Lalitaditya.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Karwani lavished praise on the organizers and assured them of all assistance and cooperation in future.
Later, Dr Karwani and other dignitaries presented trophies, cash prize and appreciation certificates to the winners and the deserving candidates.
The programme was supervised by general secretary Vinay Koul, Ashish Kachroo, P.N Tickoo, Rockey Raina, Rajesh Dhar, Deepak Raina and Ankur Bagati.
