SRINAGAR, Mar 24: A Lok Adalat was held in District Court Complex Pulwama in which 35 cases were settled.
The Lok Adalat was presided over by Abdul Rashid Malik, Principal, District and Sessions Judge Pulwama. The other Members of the Lok Adalat were Laique Parvaiz, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Pulwama and Rayees Ahmad, Tehsildar territorial Pulwama.
A total of 38 cases of flood affected victims of District Pulwama were taken up, out of which 35 cases were settled.
Awards for an amount of Rs 24 lakh were passed in favour of the claimants whose houses were fully damaged in the floods.
