Almond falls on subdued demand

NEW DELHI, Mar 26:  Almond prices fell by Rs 300 per 40 kg in the national capital today due to subdued demand from retailers and stockists at existing higher levels amidst adequate stocks on increased supplies.
Almond (California) prices were down by Rs 300 to Rs 14,500-14,700 per 40 kg and its kernel rates also eased by Rs 5 to Rs 525-535 per kg.
Traders attributed the fall in almond prices to subdued demand from retailers and stockists amidst adequate stocks.

Almond (California) Rs 14,500-14,700, Almond (Gurbandi-new) Rs 10,000-10,200, Almond (Girdhi) Rs 5,700-6,000; Abjosh Afghani Rs 5,000-22,000.
Almond Kernel (California-new) Rs 525-535 per kg, Almond Kernel (Gurbandi-new) Rs 725-825 per kg. (PTI)
