SRINAGAR: Taking a dig at the Centre for imposition of President’s rule in Uttarakhand, former Chief Minister Omar Abdullah said the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)’s actions are a clear admission of losing the Floor test.
“The BJP’s actions in Uttarakhand are a clear admission they knew they were losing the Floor test”, the working president of the National Conference (NC) said, taking to micro blogging site Twitter.
He further said “The BJP have no problem murdering democracy so long as their Congress Mukht Bharat slogan is adhered to”.
He was reacting to a tweet, which read “By hook or by crook. The BJP’s commitment to democracy is only so long as elections throw up BJP Governments”. (AGENCIES)
