Almond declines on muted demand

NEW DELHI, May 14:  Almond prices fell by Rs 100 per 40 kg in the national capital today due to subdued demand from retailers and stockists amid adequate stocks on increased supplies.
Almond (California) prices were down by Rs 100 to Rs 15,100-15,200 per 40 kg and its kernel rates also eased by Rs 5 to Rs 540-545 per kg.
Traders attributed the fall in almond prices to subdued demand from retailers and stockists amid adequate stocks.

Almond (California) Rs 15,100-15,200, Almond(Gurbandi-new) Rs 10,000-10,200, Almond (Girdhi) Rs 5,600-5,800; Abjosh Afghani Rs 5,000-22,000.
Almond Kernel (California-new) Rs 540-545 per kg, Almond Kernel (Gurbandi-new) Rs 725-825 per kg. (PTI)
