RAMBAN: MLA Ramban, Neelam Langeh and Deputy Commissioner, Mohammad Aijaz today provided ex-gratia relief of four lakh rupees each to all the three families of the children who died in flash flood in Batote area.
The Deputy Commissioner assured the bereaved families that every possible assistance shall be provided to them by the district administration.
Meanwhile, a committee headed by Additional Deputy Commissioner Ramban has been constituted to assess the losses caused due to flash flood at Batote and adjoining areas.
The bereaved families were also provided immediate relief from District Red Cross Fund on the day when incident occurred. (AGENCIES)
