4.5 magnitude quake hits Indo-Pak border region

NEW DELHI: A slight intensity quake measuring 4.5 on the Richter scale hit India (Jammu and Kashmir) Pakistan Border region today.

The quake jolted the region at 1621 hrs, the India Meteorological Department said in a statement here. The tremor was epicentered at 34.9 degrees North Latitude and 72.9 degrees East Longitude with a focal depth of 115 km, it said. (AGENCIES)
