JAMMU, May 22: Pounichak police arrested four gamblers, who were evading their arrest since long, a police official said.
The accused have been identified as Pawan Kumar, son of Raj Kumar, Vijay Kumar, son of Mohan Lal, Balkar Singh, son of Girdhari Singh and Surjeet Singh, son of Sardar Singh, all residents of village Makwal.
Arrest warrant under Section 512 CrPC also stands issued against them by Special Excise Magistrate.
Further investigation into the case registered against them is going on.
Police team led by Incharge Pounichak police post SI Sumit Magotra made the arrest under the supervision of SHO Domana Inspector RS Rana, SDPO Domana Verinder Singh and SP Rural Arun Gupta.
