KATHUA, Nov 28: A wooden Kacha house was burnt into ashes in village Loha Nathi in Lohai Malhar block of Billawer today.
The house belonged to one Talib Hussain, son of Masar Din. It was totally razed to ground and the affected family suffered a heavy loss as all house hold goods perished in the devastating fire. Four domestic animals were also burnt alive in the fire.
As per reports the fire broke out suddenly when the family members were inside the house. Seeing smoke coming out they ran away to secure themselves. The fire engulfed the whole house including animal shed and both residential house and animal shed were razed to ground with the result four animals were burnt alive inside the shed.
As there was no arrangement of fire tender to dose the blaze, the efforts of people to control the blaze totally failed.
