JAMMU, Sept 29: Bishnah police arrested four persons along with 240 litres of illicit liquor.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Bishnah Police Station laid a naka and intercepted a vehicle bearing registration number JK02AW-3760.
During checking, police recovered 240 litres of illicit liquor and arrested four persons traveling in the vehicle.
The arrested persons have been identified as Mangal Singh, son of Sardari Lal of Kotli Mian Fathey, Santosh Singh, son of Ram Lal and Bodh Raj, son of Munshi Ram, both residents of Phinder and Ravi, son of Baldev Raj of Punjab.
A case under FIR Number 176/18 under section 48-A and 48-F Excise Act has been registered at Police Station Bishnah and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Bishnah Inspector Rajesh Sharma made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Sourabh Prashar, SP Headquarters Jammu RC Kotwal and SSP Jammu Vivek Gupta.
