JAMMU, Sept 13: Bahu Fort Police arrested four persons for violating lockdown orders issued in wake of COVID-19 pandemic.
As per police sources, tightening the noose around violators of district administration guidelines issued in view of COVID-19 pandemic, a team from Bahu Fort Police Station led by SHO Inspector Deepak Pathania during patrolling in different areas arrested four persons.
The arrested persons were identified as Kuldeep Raj (M/s Aman Provisional Store), son of Munshi Ram of Village Mawa Tehsil Akhnoor, Shadab Hussain (M/s Unisex Beauty Saloon), son of Ahmed Hussain of Uttar Pradesh at present Sunjwan, Rashpal Singh (M/s Hari Om Departmental Store), son of Babu Ram of Raipur Satwari and Sunil Kumar (M/s Bombay Pao Bhaji North Block, Bahu Plaza), son of Daulat Ram of Jaipur, Rajasthan.
Cases under FIR Number 233/2020, 234/2020. 235/2020 and 236/2020 under sections 188 IPC and 3 Epidemic Diseases Act have been registered at Bahu Fort Police Station and investigation started.
