JAMMU, Aug 6: Gangyal Police arrested four gamblers along with Rs 26000 stake money and playing cards.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Gangyal Police Station conducted raid and apprehended four persons along with Rs 26000 stake money and playing cards.
The arrested persons have been identified as Sidhu Choudhary, son of Krishan Lal of Gangyal, Fateh Singh, son of Pritam Singh of Digiana, Charanjeet Singh, son of Mohinder Singh of Gangyal and Ajay Singh, son of Lakhvinder Singh of Digiana.
The arrested persons were booked under Section 13 Gambling Act at Gangyal Police Station and produced in the court of law.
Police team led by SHO Gangyal SI Nayat Ali made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO South Mohammad Rafiq Manhas and Incharge SP South Vinay Kumar.
