JAMMU, May 3: Domana police today rescued four bovine animals while the smugglers managed to escape from the spot.
A police spokesman said that, on specific inputs, police team from Domana police station headed by SDPO Domana Sanjay Parihar laid a naka and intercepted a Tata Mobile bearing registration number JK14C-3293.
On seeing the police party, the bovine smugglers fled from the spot leaving behind the vehicle.
During checking, police rescued four bovine animals from the vehicle.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Domana police station and investigation started.
