4 bovines rescued, 1 arrested

RAJOURI, Dec 25: Police rescued four bovine animals and arrested a person.
As per police sources, on specific information, teams from Rajouri police station and City police post laid a naka at Workshop Bridge and intercepted a Tata Mobile bearing registration number JK12A-3071 during the intervening night of December 24 and 25.
During checking, police rescued 4 bovine animals from the vehicle and arrested the driver, who has been identified as Basharat Iqbal, son of Sayed Mohammad of Mendhar.
A case under FIR Number 782/16 under Section 188 RPC and 3 PCA Act has been registered at police station Rajouri and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Rajouri Inspector Chaman Gorkha accompanied by Incharge City police post SI Mohammad Naseer made the arrest under the supervision of DySP Headquarters Rajouri Hamid Choudhary and SSP Rajouri Suleman Choudhary.
