4 bovines rescued, smugglers arrested

REASI, Jan 3: Police foiled two attempts of bovine smuggling at Jyotipuram and rescued four bovines besides arresting three smugglers.
Reports said that during naka checking at Jyotipuram, two vehicles bearing registration number JK02BP-3875 and JK20B-6569 were intercepted.
On checking, both the vehicles were found loaded with two bovines each without valid permission. Police rescued the bovine animals and arrested drivers of both the vehicles besides a helper, identified as Mohd Aslam, son of Makhan Din of Darmari, Abrar Hussain son of Mohd Munshi of Darmari and Mohd Javed son of Mohd Abdullah of Malai, District Reasi.
Police also seized both the vehicles and registered case FIRs at Police Station Reasi. The Police success was made under the supervision of DySP Headquarters, Neeraj Padyar.
