MENDHAR, Dec 12: The police rescued four bovine animals and arrested two persons in this connection in BG area of Mendhar today.
Reports said a police party led by SHO, Gursari Insp L S Chib, under the supervision of SDPO (officiating) Mendhar, Zeeshan Bhat intercepted a Tata Mobile vehicle No. JK02AG/ 7489 near Bhimbar Gali and found four bovine animals being transported to Kashmir via Mughal road. The cops seized the vehicle along with animals and arrested driver and the trader. They were identified as Omkar Singh, son of Karan Singh and Zamarat Khan, son of Mohd Afsar Khan, resident of Garan in Rajouri. A case was registered against them.
