SAMBA, Sept 27: A Lok Adalat of MACT cases was held at District Court Complex under the chairmanship of Inder Singh, Chairman, District Legal Services Authority, Principal, District and Sessions Judge and assisted by SS Bali, Chairman, Tehsil Legal Services Committee and SK Khanmotra, Advocate.
A total of 5 cases were taken up out of which 4 cases were settled through mediation, negotiation and conciliation and Rs 11,30,000 was awarded as compensation.
