JAMMU, Aug 28: Law Department has appointed four Chief Judicial Magistrates (CJMs) as District Judges.
According to the order issued by Law Secretary Achal Sethi, as recommended by the High Court, sanction, in terms of Rule 11 read with Rule 5(l)(a) of the Jammu and Kashmir Higher Judicial Service Rules, 2009, has been accorded to the appointment on promotion of four Civil Judges Senior Division/Sub Judges as District Judges (Entry Level) against the substantive posts on regular basis.
They are Deepak Sethi, presently posted as Chief Judicial Magistrate Jammu, Sunil Sangra, Chief Judicial Magistrate Handwara, Mohammad Ashraf Khan, Chief Judicial Magistrate Anantnag and Mohammad Rafiq Chak, Chief Judicial Magistrate Udhampur.
