JAMMU, Mar 13: The Government of Jammu and Kashmir has reconstituted four Development Authorities with the Lt Governor as Chairman of the each.
These include Pahalgam Development Authority, Gulmarg Development Authority, Patnitop Development Authority and J&K Golf Development and Management Authority.
Besides Advisor In-charge Tourism Department and Chief Secretary, Administrative Secretaries of Finance, Planning Development & Monitoring Department and Tourism Department are Members of the each Development Authority.
Director Tourism Kashmir, DC Anantnag, Chief Town Planner Kashmir, concerned SE PW(R&B) Department and DFO are also Members of the Pahalgam Development Authority while CEO Tourism Development Authority Pahalgam is its Member Secretary.
The Gulmarg Development Authority Members include Director Tourism Kashmir, DC Baramulla, Chief Town Planner Kashmir, concerned SE PW(R&B) Department and DFO while the CEO Tourism Development Authority Gulmarg is its Member Secretary.
Similarly, the Patnitop Development Authority Members include Director Tourism Jammu, DC Udhampur, Chief Town Planner Jammu, concerned SE PW(R&B) department and DFO as the Members while CEO Tourism Development Authority Patnitop is the Member Secretary.
Advisor In-charge Tourism Department is Vice-Chairman of the J&K Golf Development and Management Authority while Director General of Police, Principal Secretary to LG, Director Tourism Jammu/Kashmir and CEO of the Authority are its Members.
Members of these Development Authorities will hold the office for a period of two years.
