4 fraudsters held with fake RCs, 4 vehicles seized

JAMMU, Feb 22: RS Pura Police arrested four fraudsters along with fake registration certificates (RCs) vis seized four vehicles, electronic gadgets and various incriminating material.
As per police sources, after generating an input of fake RCs and number plates, RS Pura Police arrested four fraudsters and recovered fake RCs and number plates with four vehicles as well.
A special police team led by SHO RS Pura Inspector Jai pal Sharma was constituted under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Shabir Khan, which raided a hideout used by these fraudsters and recovered the fake material used for making illegal profit.
Four accused arrested were identified as Kewal Krishan alias Billa, son of Banarsi Lal R/o Khana Chak RS Pura, Neeraj Kumar, son of Rattan Lal of Rangpur Sidhrey, Ashok Singh, son of Ganga Singh of Hari Vihar Kunjwani Jammu and Kuldeep Singh, son of Gandhrav Singh of Bera RS Pura.
A case FIR Number 23/2022 under Section 420, 467, 468 and 471 IPC was lodged at Police Station RS Pura.
During intensive questioning, the accused persons gave some more leads and on their disclosures four vehicles including Scorpio, Balero, Breeza and Alto with fake RCs and chasses numbers were recovered and seized.
In addition to this, one laptop, one printer used for preparing fake RCs and ICs were also seized.
Further investigation into the case is going on as police is also working out thoroughly to crack the forward and backward cartel of this illegal trade.
The whole operation was conducted under the supervision of SP Headquarters Jammu Ramnish Gupta and SSP Jammu Chandan Kohli.
