4 from J&K get IAS, 6 others IPS, IRS, IRMS

JAMMU, Aug 27: The Union Public Services Commission (UPSC) today allocated services among the 2023 civil service examination qualifiers.

As per the information available on the Commission’s website, a total of 883 candidates out of total 1016 qualifiers were allocated different services including IAS, IFS, IPS, IRS, IA&AS, IRMS, IDES, DANICS, IIS, ICLS, ITS, IPoS, IP&TAFS, IDAS, and other services.
As far as the UT of Jammu and Kashmir is concerned, four qualifiers from the region-Anmol Rathore, Arjun Gupta, Aparajita Aryan, and Seerat Baji-were allocated the Indian Administrative Service (IAS).
Similarly, two qualifiers, Harnit Singh Sudan and Dr Ghulam Maya Din, were allocated Indian Police Service (IPS) and same number of achievers, Mohammad Haris Mir and Mohammad Farhan Seh, were allocated the Indian Revenue Service (Income Tax), and as many of them, Suvan Sharma and Dinash Kumar, were allocated Indian Railway Management Service (IRMS).
While Anmol Rathore, the Jammu and Kashmir Combined Competitive Examination (JKCCE) 2022 topper secured All Indian Rank (AIR) 7 in the UPSC examination 2023, Arjun Gupta got AIR 32, Aparajita Aryan (AIR 381), Seerat Baji (AIR 516), Harnit Singh Sudan (AIR 177), Dr Ghulam Maya Din (AIR 388), Mohammad Haris Mir (AIR 345), Mohammad Farhan Seh (AIR 359), Suvan Sharma (AIR 412), and Dinash Kumar (AIR 1003).
Only one qualifier of the UT, Manan Bhat (AIR 88) has not been allocated any service so far.
