Jammu, Dec 3: Sarwal police arrested four gamblers along with Rs 4,610 stake money and playing cards from Rajpura area.
As per police sources, on specific information, police team from Sarwal police post conducted raid in Rajpura area and nabbed four gamblers along with Rs 4,610 stake money and playing cards.
The accused have been identified as Naresh Kumar, son of Ramesh Chander, Pishori Lal, son of Beli Ram and Raman Khajuria, son of Prem Nath, trio residents of Rajpura, Vikram Kumar, son of Surhu Ram of Green Enclave.
A case under Section 13 Gambling Act has been registered against the accused at Sarwal police post and investigations started.
Police team led by Incharge Sarwal police post SI Vikas Hans made the arrest under the supervision of SHO Bakshi Nagar Inspector Ashwani Kumar, Incharge SDPO West Vivek Shekhar, SP City Shiv Kumar Singh Chauhan and SSP Jammu Uttam Chand.
