JAMMU, May 31: Police arrested four gamblers along with Rs 2,100 stake money from Treva Chowk, falling under the jurisdiction of Arnia police station.
As per police sources, a team from Arnia police station conducted a raid at Treva Chowk and arrested four gambles with Rs 2,100 stake money and playing cards.
The accused have been identified as Kasturi Lal, son of Mansar Ram, Randhu Ram, son of Lal Chand, Raj Kumar, son of Som Raj and Sone Lal, son of Mohinder Pal, all residents of Arnia.
A case under Section 13 Gambling Act has been registered at Arnia police station and investigation started.
Police team headed by Inspector Kulbir Singh Choudhary made the arrest under the supervision of SP Headquarters Randhir Singh and SDPO RS Pura Davinder Singh.
