4 gamblers nabbed by Narwal police

JAMMU, Nov 4:  Police today arrested four gamblers along with Rs 5,500 stake money from Rajiv Nagar area, falling under the jurisdiction of Narwal police post.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Narwal police post conducted a raid in Transport Nagar area and arrested four gamblers along with Rs 5,500 stake money and playing cards.
The accused have been identified as Rohiny Lal and Rohiny Kumar, both sons of Ram Parshad, Manmohan Singh, son of Deepak Lal and Ganash Chander, son of Ram Lal, all residents of Shanker Nagar, Narwal.
A case under Section 13 Gambling Act has been registered at Trikuta Nagar police station and investigation started.
Police team led by Incharge Narwal police post SI Nayat Ali made the arrests under the supervision of SDPO East Mohammad Rafiq, SP South Rahul Malik and SSP Jammu Uttam Chand.
