SAMBA, Dec 5: Bari Brahmana Police has arrested four persons and recovered 21 grams of heroin from their possession at two different places in the area.
As per reports District Special Branch (DSB) team, Vijaypur along with Bari Brahmana Police today apprehended two persons and recovered 13 grams of heroin from their possession. They included a woman namely Dimple alias Rubika, R/o Rakh Arnia and other man namely Gurdeep Singh R/o Pundit Sant Ram Street Mena Chowk Bathinda Punjab at Balole bridge Police Naka. The duo was traveling in an Alto Car B/R No 0475 and during checking police recovered approximately 13 grams heroin (Chitta) from their possession .The Police has registered a case FIR NO 220/2017 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act.
In another case, police party of P/S Bari Brahmana at a special naka at Reore Chowk this evening arrested two more drug peddlers. Namely Sittar Hussian, and Dil Mohammad, both are the residents of Sector D Extension, Deelni Sainik Colony, Jammu. The duo was travelling on a scooter bearing Registration Number, JK02N/0488. The police recovered seven grams of heroin from their possession.
The Police has registered a case FIR No 221/2017 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act against them and started investigation also.
The arrest at both places were made by Inspector Mahesh Sharma, SHO, P/S Bari Brahmana under the supervision of SDPO Bari Brahmana, Usman Choudhary and Additional S P Samba, Adil Hameed on the directives of SSP Samba, Anil Magotra.
