4 held with stolen gold

JAMMU, Feb 26: Police in Jammu’s Bagh-e-Bahu area claimed on Sunday that they have busted burglars’ gang here and recovered stolen gold worth several lakhs.
A spokesperson said that several complaints were lodged at Police Station Bagh-e-Bahu regarding theft of gold items.
On this, he said, several special police teams, led by SDPO East Syed Zaheer Abbas Jafar and assisted by SHO Police Station Bagh-e-Bahu, Inspector Surinder Raina, with the help of CCTV footage arrested three people identified as Deepak Kumar @Deepu Daana of Kalka Colony, Irfan Mehmood of Gujjar Nagar, and Rakshit Gandral of Dalpatian Mohalla, Jammu with the stolen gold weighing 85 grams worth several lakhs.
Police have started further investigations.
