4 injured as LPG cylinder catches fire in Rajouri school

RAJOURI, Aug 6: Four persons sustained burn injuries when an LPG cylinder caught fire in a Government school in Kotranka area of Rajouri district today.
Reports said that four persons, including a teacher and a cook were injured after an LPG cylinder caught fire in Government Middle School Draman in Kotranka sub-division while cooking Mid-Day Meal.
The injured were identified as Mariem Begum (teacher), daughter of Abdul Latief, Shanaz Akhter (35), wife of Shokat Ali (cook), Shokat Ali, son of Abdul Hamid of Draman and Saleema Akhter wife of Mohammad Iqbal of Draman.
They were rushed to CHC Kandi, where from they were referred to GMC Rajouri for advanced treatment.
