4 injured in road mishaps

SRINAGAR, Aug 1: Four persons were injured today in different road accidents across Kashmir valley.
A police spokesman said a motorcycle, JK03A/2631, driven by Yasir Ahmad Shah, son of Mushtaq Ahmad of Nathipora skidded off the road, at Jaibal Ashmuqam in Anantnag district, resulting in injuries to the pillion Abdul Rahim Wagay son of Mohammad Ismail of Mir Maidaan. The spokesman said he was shifted to a hospital for treatment.
In another accident, a motorcycle, JK05A/1016, collided with a Tonga at Janwara, Sopore, in Baramulla district, resulting in injuries to motorcycle rider, Showkat Ahmad Malla, son of Ghulam Ahmad of Arin Bandipora and two pillions Arif Ahmad Wani, son of Mohammad Ramzan of Hatlangoo, Sopore and Khalid Hussain Changa, son of Ghulam Hassan of Arampora, Sopore.
The police spokesman said the injured have been shifted to hospital for treatment.
