4 injured in road accidents

JAMMU, Nov 23: Two sisters and a minor girl were among four injured in separate road accidents in different parts of Jammu region.
According to a police spokesperson, two sisters were seriously injured when their scooty was hit by a speeding scooter at Digiana area of city outskirts. The girls identified as Dolly Mehra (22) and Pooja Mehra (20), daughter of Thoru Ram, resident of Nai Basti (Jammu) were immediately shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu for treatment.
A minor girl hailing from New Delhi also got injured when he was hit by a van bearing registration Number JK02AF-8353 near Bus Stand Katra. The girl identified as Simmi (5) daughter of Phool Chand, a resident of Dakshinipuri, New Delhi, was immediately shifted to GNCH for treatment.
A 75 years old man also got injured when he was hit by a speeding car while crossing a road at Kacchi Chawani. The injured person identified as Anchal Singh son of Thakur Sukhdev, a resident of Nariana Mohalla, Kacchi Chawani (Jammu) were rushed to GMCH for treatment.
In all the cases, the concerned police has taken cognizance of the matter and started investigations.
