4 injured in road accidents

Srinagar, Apr 6: Police today said four persons were injured in different road accidents in Valley.
A police spokesman said a Swift car bearing registration number JK01X-1614 driven by Waseem Fareedi, a non-local, hit a road divider at Sonawar near G.B Panth Hospital here, resulting in injuries to the driver and Taseem Ahmad boarding the vehicle. “Both the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment. Srinagar police has registered a case in this regard,” he said.
The spokesman said a Hyundai car bearing registration number DL8CAA-0410 driven by Naseer Ahmad hit and injure a cyclist namely Abdul Rehman Ganaie near Tulmulla road in Ganderbal district. “The injured was shifted to SKIMS Soura, Srinagar for treatment. Police have registered a case in this regard.
The spokesman said a Sumo bearing registration number JK09-4262 hit and injured a pedestrian Meema near Iqra Public School Helmathpora in Kupwara district. “The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment. Police have registered a case in this regard,” he said.
