4 injured in separate road accidents

JAMMU, Nov 8: Four persons were injured today in separate road accidents in different parts of Jammu region.
According to a police spokesperson a speeding car hit a motorbike this evening near Nagbani area of city outskirts and left injured the motorbike rider Manu (25) son of Ramesh Sharma, a resident of Sangrampur and its pillion rider, Amit Singh (28) son of Parladh Singh of Gole Puli. They were immediately shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu for treatment.
Another mishap took place at Narwal when a bike and scooter collided with each other. In the mishap, Yogeshwar (26) son of Pritam Singh, a resident of Chak Lala Bishnah received serious injuries. He was also shifted to GMCH.
A pedestrian namely Shakuntla Devi (56) wife of Rajinder Singh of RS Pura also got injured when she was hit by a motorbike at RS Pura. She was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital from where later she was referred to GMCH for advanced treatment.
A road accident also took place early this morning near Kabir Basti, KC Morh, Jammu, when a speeding Alto car bearing registration No DL8CK-4991 hit the side wall of the road. In the accident, the car driver namely Rahul Misri (35) son of Sanjay Misri, a resident of Subhash Nagar received serious injuries. He was immediately rushed to GMCH, where his condition is stated to be stable.
In all the cases the concerned police has taken cognizance of the matter.
