SAMBA, Dec 12: Four people were injured in three separate road accidents in Samba district today.
According to police one motorcyclist namely Janu, 19, son of Ashwani Kumar of Dagore Samba was injured when his motorcycle bearing registration number JK21C-2067 was hit by tipper JK02BJ-5912 on Jammu-Pathankot National Highway near Barian , Supwal today.
The injured was rushed to Government Emergency Hospital Vijaypur by the locals where his condition is stated to be serious.
Supwal Police has registered the case in this regard under relevant sections of law.
A pedestrian namely Sakshi Sharma, 29, wife of Mohit Sharma residents of Samthyal Rattan Pur, Ghagwal was injured when she was hit by a motorcycle JK08C-5520 on Jammu-Pathankot National Highway near Maheshwar Samba today around 10:45 am in which motorcyclist Vishal Singh 32 son of Harbans Singh residents of Sangwali Jatwal was also injured, police said. Both were rushed to Government District Hospital Samba from where the doctors referred them to GMC Jammu.
Their condition is stated to be critical. The police has registered a case under relevant sections of law.
Another pedestrian was injured when he was hit by an unknown vehicle on border road near Raipur Morh Samba, police said. He was rushed to Government District Hospital Samba from where the doctors referred him to GMC Jammu. He was identified as Dharam Paul 65, son of Radhan resident of Balori Samba.
The Samba Police has also registered a case under relevant sections of the law.
