4 IPS officers from J&K empanelled as IGs

JAMMU, Aug 18: Four IPS officers from Jammu and Kashmir were among 75 IPS officers of 1995 batch who have been empanelled as Inspector Generals (IGs) in the Government of India.
The IPS officers from J&K empanelled as the IGs included SD Singh Jamwal, presently on deputation to Intelligence Bureau, SS Khandare, Rajesh Kumar and T Namgiyal.
A total of 75 IPS officers of 1995 batch from different States have been empanelled as the IGs, official sources said.
