4 killed in Samba accidents

SAMBA, Nov 6: Four persons were killed in different road accidents in Samba district today.
Police said one Tarsem Lal, 58, son of Kaka Ram of Harsath Ghagwal, Samba died after he was hit by car at Tapyal in Ghagwal of Samba district today. He was shifted to Government Medical College Hospital (GMCH) Jammu for treatment where doctors declared him as brought dead.
His dead body was later shifted to mortuary room of GMC for postmortem. The Ghagwal police has registered a case under relevant sections of law in this regard.
In another accident one Sanjay Singh, 45, son of Surjeet Singh of Dhyansar, Bari Brahmana received grievous injuries after he was hit by a two wheeler at Dhyansar on November 3. He was rushed to GMC Jammu in a serious condition where he breathed his last today. His dead body was shifted to mortuary room for postmortem.
Bari Brahmana police has taken the cognizance of the same.
Meanwhile, one unidentified male person was killed in a hit and run case after his bike was hit by an unknown vehicle today. His age approximately appeared to by of 40 years. He was rushed to GMC by PSI Tanveer Khan of Bari Brahmana, Police Station. His dead body was shifted to mortuary room of the Hospital for postmortem and identification. The Bari Brahmana police has taken the cognizance of it.
In another case one person appearing to be from 30 to 35 years of age got hit by an unknown vehicle near JKEDI, Bari Brahmana resulting in his on spot death. The Bari Brahmana Police has taken cognizance of the matter. But the deceased has not been identified so far.
