DODA, Aug 30: Eight persons including 4 minors were injured when the vehicle they were traveling in skidded off the road and plunged into Jangalwar Nallah near Thathri, here today.
As per police sources, a vehicle bearing registration number HR26BR-5252 was on its way to Chatroo from Jammu, when the driver lost control over the vehicle and it rolled down into Jangalwar Nallah near Thathri, resulting into injuries to 8 persons including 4 minors.
After getting information, police team rushed to the spot and started rescue operation. All the injured persons were shifted to Emergency Hospital Thathri for treatment.
The injured were identified as Nayeem Ahmed (14), son of Manzoor Ahmed, Aneesa Banoo (23), daughter of Mohammad Ali Malik, Mubashir Ahmed Malik (20), son of Mohammad Din Malik, Tahir Kabir (8), son of Abdul Kabir, Naziah Banoo (5), daughter of Abdul Kabir, Ruksana Begum (23), wife of Abdul Kabir Malik and Abdul Kabir (35), son of Ghulam Ahmed, all residents of Maliknad Chatroo District Kishtwar and Nashra Banoo (17), daughter of Farooq Ahmed of District Kishtwar.
A case under relevant sections has been registered at Thathri Police Station and investigation started.
