RAJOURI, Mar 4: The police nabbed four persons when they were about to strike in Dhani Dhar area here today and recovered a country made pistol (Desi Katta) and two sharp edged weapons from their possession.
A police spokesman said that acting on a specific information, a police party in a swift action surrounded a Santro car (No. JK06/ 0340) parked near the house of one Sajjad Ahmed at Dhani Dhar and over powered four youth sitting inside. The police also recovered a Desi Katta, a sword and a daggar from their possession. The vehicle was also seized.
Those arrested were identified as Najib-ul- Rehman, son of Abdul Rehman, Fayaz Ahmed, son of Ghulam Rasool, Nissar Ahmed, son of Abdul Rehman from Doda and Nasir Ahmed, son of Lal Hussain, resident of Challas in Poonch. A case has been registered against them. The police has started investigation to know about their target in the area.
