4 notorious criminals arrested with sharp edged weapons

JAMMU, May 28: Police in Sub Division RS Pura arrested four notorious criminals and recovered sharp edged weapons from their possession.
As per police sources, Jammu Police in RS Pura got an advance input that criminals had planned to attack some persons.
Acting swiftly and after collaboration of human and technical intelligence, police parties constituted under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Shabir Khan and SP Headquarters Ramnish Gupta led by SHO Police Station Miran Sahib Inspector Sultan Mirza and Incharge SHO Police Station RS Pura SI Ranjit Singh raided various hideouts and arrested 4 criminals identified as Pankaj Kashyap alias Panku, son of Vijay Kumar, Dheeraj Kumar, son of Mahinder Pal, Abhimanu Sharma alias Mannu, son of Rampal, all residents of RS Pura and Rajinder Singh alias Rashu, son of Rashpal Singh of District Samba. Four sharp edged weapons were also recovered from their possession. Meanwhile, one vehicle bearing registration number JK21F-7907 was also seized which was meant to be used for the commission of crime.
Subsequently, a case under FIR Number 108/2021 under Sections 4/25 Arms Act and 120-B IPC has been registered at Police Station RS Pura and investigation started.
