KISHTWAR, June 12: Four passengers were injured, when the mini-bus they were traveling in, skidded off the road and turned turtle near Bindrabhan area on Kishtwar-Chatroo-Sinthan road.
As per police sources, a mini-bus bearing registration number JK06-0922 was on its way to Kishtwar from Sigdi, when the driver lost control over the vehicle and it turned turtle near Bindrabhan area, 5 kilometers from Kishtwar town, causing injuries to four persons.
After getting information, police team rushed to the spot and with the help of locals rescued the injured persons.
All the injured persons were shifted to District Hospital Kishtwar, where their condition was stated to be stable, when last reports came in.
The injured have been identified as Mushtaq Ahmed, son of Mohammad Iqbal of Sigdi, Rafiya Bano, daughter of Mohammad Iqbal of Sigdi, Maqbool Ahmed, son of Kushi Mohammad of Kurya Pul and Abdul Hameed of Mulchater.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Kishtwar Police Station and investigation started.
