JAMMU, Sept 10: Deputy Commissioner Jammu, Simrandeep Singh today ordered suspension of four Patwaris for violating J&K Employees Conduct Rules, 1971.
According to the order, the Deputy Commissioner vide Order No.72 DCJ dated September 6, 2016 had ordered transfers and postings of Patwaris with the direction to ensure compliance by or before September 10.
However, the concerned Tehsildars brought to the notice of the Deputy Commissioner that four Patwaris namely Sunny Kumar transferred to Bahadurpur Arnia, Altaf Hussain transferred to Jabowal Arnia, Manmohan Singh shifted to Chandu Chak Suchetgarh and Pardeep Singh transferred to Gurah Manhasan Pargwal have not ensured compliance of the order.
As the conduct of these four Patwaris tantamount to the violation of Rule 3 of J&K Employees Conduct Rules, 1971 and general public will suffer due to their non-joining at the respective place of postings, the Deputy Commissioner has placed these four Patwaris under suspension with immediate effect and attached them with ADC (Admn) Jammu, who has been asked to immediately prepare chargesheet for initiating departmental enquiry with the prior approval of competent authority.
The suspension order has been issued in exercise of the powers vested in Deputy Commissioner in terms of Schedule 1-B of CSR read with J&K CC&A Rules.
