JAMMU, Mar 9: Physically challenged persons with benchmark disabilities will have 4% reservation in recruitment of Assistant Professors in different disciplines in Government Degree Colleges of Jammu and Kashmir in Higher Education Department.
An order in this connection was issued by J&K Public Service Commission. “There shall be a horizontal reservation of 4% for physically challenged persons having benchmark disabilities identified in the Government order Number 59-JK (SWD) of 2021 dated 15-04-2021,” the Order reads while referring to filling up of the posts of Assistant Professors in GDCs of J&K.
