SRINAGAR, May 4: Chief Executive Officer of Pahalgam Development Authority (PDA) today suspended four employees as over 50 kanals of land at Aru was found encroached upon by some people in the recent past.
Official sources said that during inspection of the area by a team led by AEE, PDA, it was found that nearly 50 kanals of land was grabbed by some people at Aru. It was also found that concerned officials failed to intimate the higher authorities about the matter.
Taking serious note of the matter, the CEO placed four employees under suspension, pending inquiry about their involvement and shady role.
They are-Mohd Ismail Wani- Works Supervisor, Bashir Ahmed Magray- Road Supervisor, Ghulam Hassan Dar and Mushtaq Ahmed Khan, both SLW.
