UDHAMPUR, Mar 21: Following complaints, Ramnagar Police registered two separate cases of alleged kidnapping and rape by the accused persons, who were arrested.
As per a written complainant, lodged by family members of an 18-year-old girl, their daughter was kidnapped and raped by two youth namely Gulshan of Ramnagar and Joginder of Jib Udhampur.
Police registered the case FIR No. 52/17 under section 366/376 and recovered the girl besides apprehending both the accused. The girl has been sent to Sub District Hospital Ramnagar for medical and further investigation in the case was going on.
In another case, family members of a 20-year-old girl lodged complaint at Police Station Ramnagar and alleged that the victim was raped by two brothers namely Shrif and Latif of Ramnagar.
Acting swiftly, Police launched the manhunt and apprehend both the accused.
