RAJOURI, Apr 15: The police seized four vehicles and recovered 11 bovine animals being smuggled to Kashmir in Thannamandi area last night.
Reports said Thanamandi Police during naka checking intercepted four Tata Mobile vehicles loaded with 11 bovine animals which were on way from Rajouri towards Buffliaz- Mughal Road.
In this regard case FIR No 40/2022 , 41/2022, 42/2022 and 43/2022 U/S 188 IPC 11 PCA Act. got registered .Tata Mobile vehicle No. JK02AG -0741 had loaded 2, vehicle No. JK02AL -1149 three, Tata Mobile No. JK11A- 2849 four, 4 and vehicle No. JK02BM- 0816 two cattle. All the bovine animals were rescued and vehicles seized.
Accused namely Rayaz Ahmed, son of Faiz Ahmed from Lah; Muzaffer Iqbal, son of Mohd Razaq from Garan, Nowshera; Mohd Ishfaq, son of o Mohd Shabir from Hasplote in Thana Mandi and Mohd Shoket, son of Abdul Hussain, from Darhal got arrested.
SHO Thannamandi, Inspector Shoket Hussain said that those found involved in unlawful activities will not be given free hand and strict action under law will taken against them.
