JAMMU, Mar 1: 1st Additional Sessions Judge Jammu, M A Chowdhary today awarded four years imprisonment to seven accused in murderous attack case.
The convicts are Karan Kumar, Subash Chander and Swaran Singh, all sons of Kaka Ram, Sarwan Kumar, son of Bodh Raj, Beer Singh and Janak Raj, sons of Sansar Chand and Ranjit Kumar, son of Ram Dass, all residents of Jammu.
After hearing APP Ajay Singh Manhas appearing for the State, the court observed, “in view of ocular evidence corroborated by the medical expert it has been proved that the accused had caused simple and grievous injuries on the persons of the injured by forming an unlawful assembly”.
“Therefore, the commission of offences punishable under Sections 323/325/149 RPC have been proved against the accused”, the court said while awarding imprisonment to the accused persons.
