40 commercial vehicles handed over to beneficiaries under Mumkin Scheme

RAJOURI, Mar 31: Continuing the efforts undertaken to provide sustainable livelihood to the unemployed youth of District Rajouri, the Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal, who is also the Chairman of, the District Level Implementation Committee (DLIC) today handed over the keys of subsidized 40 commercial vehicles under ‘MUMKIN’ scheme to the beneficiaries in a function held at PWD Dakbanglow Rajouri.
The Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Imran Kataria, AD Employment, Rekha Bali, Employment Officer, Mohd Aslam Beig, and Media Persons were present on the occasion.
While interacting with media persons, the DC said that the administration is working very hard and steps are being taken to provide better employment avenues for the youth through systematic livelihood generation programmes so that they can live a dignified life.
While complimenting the beneficiaries, the DC emphasised upon them to work with passion and dedication to earn a decent livelihood with dignity. He also advised them to work with determination for making profitable use of the vehicle in the commercial sector.
“Concerned officers have been directed to bring more progressive youth under the ambit of the scheme by generating requisite awareness among them,” he added.
He also appealed to eligible youth to come forward and avail livelihood benefits under the scheme.
