40 litres of illicit liquor recovered

JAMMU, June 12: Police claimed today that they have successfully arrested two bootleggers and recovered 40 litres of illicit liquor and 200 litres of lahan from their possession.
A police spokesperson said that Police in Bishnah received information about some people selling illicit liquor at Karail Manhassan, near Aik Nallah in Bishnah.
Accordingly police teams led by SHO Bishnah Inspector Vikram Sharma under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Nikhil Gogna and overall supervision of SSP Jammu Chandan Kohli raided the area and recovered 40 litres of illicit liquor, 200 litres of laahan, utensils, baathi, cylinder, and distillery.
Following the raid the accused identified as Ramesh Lal and Tarsem Lal, both residents of Krail Manhassan, Bishnah, were arrested and booked under the relevant sections of the law.
