JAMMU, Apr 3: A total of 40 new COVID positive cases were reported today in Jammu and Kashmir, 21 from Jammu Division and 19 from Kashmir valley.
According to the reports, highest number of 14 cases have been reported from Jammu district, followed by 4 each from Srinagar, Anantnag and Kulgam districts while 3 cases each were reported from Poonch and Baramulla districts, 2 from Pulwama district and 1 each from Budgam, Kupwara, Rajouri, Doda, Kathua and Reasi districts.
Reports said that a total of 1125 COVID tests were conducted in the Union Territory in last 24 hours. The number of active Covid cases in the UT as on date is 166,41 in Jammu Division and 125 in Kashmir Province whereas 21 COVID patients recovered today, 3 from Jammu Division and 18 from Kashmir valley.
The number of active cases in Srinagar district is 43, followed by 30 in Jammu, 29 in Budgam, 13 in Ganderbal, 11 in Pulwama, 10 in Baramulla, 7 in Kulgam, 5 each in Kupwara and Anantnag districts, 3 each in Poonch and Reasi districts, and 1 each in Bandipora, Shopian, Ramban, Kathua, Doda, Rajouri and Samba districts.
